Below you will find a description of all the various compounds available, obviously the selected pads will be characterized by one of these compounds, and this is highlighted in the product title.
RC compound:
An innovative material, specifically formulated for racing applications, where it excels due to COMPOUNDS its high-temperature resistance. So excellent braking control plus resistance in severe conditions make this the ideal material for top performance racing applications. NOT FOR HIGHWAY USE.
SR compound:
The SR compound has such characteristics (high and constant coefficient of friction at high temperatures) that allow it to be used both on the track and on the road: it is therefore the ideal choice for those who particularly stress the braking system in all conditions.
LA compound:
The range of Brembo pads, already very wide and able to meet the needs of all motorcyclists, is further enriched with the introduction of the LA compound, sintered specifically for front applications. Compound designed for road use, it is characterized by very good efficiency in all conditions of use combined with exceptional durability.
SA compound:
Brembo Sintered Street Pads guarantee a high friction rate at every temperatures and with every weather.Demanding motorcyclists choose this pads for their combined low ware and high friction rate.
SP compound:
A sintered compound intended specially for rear brakes, stable in all operating conditions.
CC compound:
The evolution of the organic compound, featuring a higher carbon content. This friction material offers increased mileage and good performance in all conditions: heat and cold, wet and dry.
Brembo Genuine parts:
The orinal replacement part for Brembo calipers. Selecting these pads, you buy exactly the same OE material as used by the motorcycle manufacturer and developed for the particular application, according to the most stringent criteria. Pads can be of sintered or Carbon Ceramic material.
SX compound:
PA notably aggressive pad able to withstand high temperatures, reccommended for Motocross e Supermotard. Particularly steady performance.
SD compound:
Good efficiency and stability under all operating condictions. Suitably resistant to wear, even when exposed to water and mud. Less aggrassive than the SX, giving more flexible control.
TT compound:
Suitable for Off-Road or Enduro use: Advantageously controllable material, formulated to perform well in both dry and wet condictions. Especially effictive in situations characterized by poor grip, where flexible response is needed.
XS Sccoter compound:
Sintered compound, specific for scooter applications, both front and rear. It is an extremely stable material, guaranteeing constant performance in all riding situations
CC scooter compound:
The evolution of the organic compound, featuring a higher carbon content. This friction material offers increased mileage and good performance in all conditions: heat and cold, wet and dry.
